TUSCAN VILLA, 5X7, OIL, SOLD

This is a study for a 24x30 piece I did a few weeks ago. I am finding I start to get antsy when I concentrate on too many abstract pieces. Did I forget how to paint? Can I still do a "normal painting". Ohh poor me, with all my insecurities! But still, I will probably post more realistic peices the rest of the week!

This piece is wonderful in that it is a "normal" painting with some abstract components. Your colors are so pleasing. Great job.

Carol, Love the movement in this one. Also, the strong verticles of the cypress.

I think you did an excellent job of blending the best of both worlds in this. The abstract shapes give it a lot of energy. Love it!
