GREEN GRAPES, 6X8, OIL-SOLD
Don't you just love to paint green grapes. They have the most beautiful colors in them..all that transparency is irrresistible.
I do indeed love this painting. Grapes are one fruit I always have in the home as yet I have never attempted to paint them maybe bacuse I am too busy eating them. I so love the use of colour you have it feels so real. I have to say I also enjoy a glass of white wine so you have me on every level.
You have certainly captured the wonderfully reflective quality of these grapes. Probably one of the nicest renderings I have seen of this subject! It makes one realize how much color there is on a subject if we actually take the time to look! Hmmm...I think I need to be adding a few more dabs of reflective color on my urban scenes. Love the strawberry too! Food for thought, and for the tummy.
