La trois poires, the three pears...why does it sound so much better in French? It reminds me of a particular day in Paris. My apartment was warm and cozy as I sat by the window reading my book while snow softly fell. A plate of pears sat on the table and I snuggled in my soft robe. Of course, this never happened, but I think it should have at some point in my life! Maybe when I return to France...........

Beautiful pears! i really love your color palette. Your sea-foam and yellow are marvelous against purple. Well done.
ReplyDeleteFrench lesson: La poire, les poires
Love these pears. I think it's the sensual sound of French and the sensual curves of the pears that go so well together! And, take me w/ you to that apartment in Pear-ee!

ReplyDeleteNice story! the pears are artfully arranged and painted so nicely! I esp like the way you did the pear standing straight up, you must have been especially observing that one, it is at a hard angle to paint!
