Why rut? If this is what you like, it's not a rut but a passion. This is a lovely piece!
ReplyDeleteLove this, beautifully painted. You can paint anything well, but I love your still lifes.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely gesture in this artichoke! It appears to be yearning or wistful. Sensitive brushstrokes, beautiful color and space. I really like it!!
ReplyDeleteWell, you are good at still lifes so why not.
ReplyDeleteI would not call this beautiful little painting being in a rut. It is lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove the texture and color shifts in the artichoke, Liz. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you back with the veggies, Carol. You will never run out of subjects because you are fearless of everyday subjects!
ReplyDeleteAnd may I say, my favorite one of all. Good to explore in art , Essential in fact. But home is where it is at. And I see you are home in this lovely competent piece.
