In my town, we still have a few houses with boat garages, a house that has access to the water and you can drive your boat right inside. They stopped constructing them many years ago.
This one is so charming, sitting just off the inter-coastal with the boat waiting to take you on a leisurely afternoon cruise. Old Florida at it's best!

Love the color palette in this one. Boat houses. I remember them. We had some at the lake even way up here in Maine. Sometimes they were simply unattached garages in the water.

A boat house flooded with light, very charming...I really like the idea of parking your boat the way you would park your car. Great painting, lovely subject.
