It's a rainy and dreary day today, just the kind of day you want to curl up with a soft blanket, a great novel, and a cup of hot chocolate. I thought it would be the perfect day to post this coffee mug I painted a few weeks ago.
The purpose of the exercise was to paint an object with reflected color.
It was a fun exercise.
Now, time to find my blankey and book.

Cute, cute cup!!! I like it!
ReplyDeletePerfect success in reflecting the color, I really like the rose tonality.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours you use in your paintings they make them uniquely yours. A simple cup beautifully painted.
ReplyDeleteI love the aqua blues and the cream colors in the cup. They really look lovely against the rose tones.
ReplyDeleteThose colors are luscious! Great job and bouncing the reflections.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've been showcasing
the paintings with other objects. It gives a sense of the size and cleverly ties in with the theme of the painting. Very creative!
What a lovely coffee cup Carol. It's so feminine. It would definitely cheer me up on a dreary day.
