  2. Happy Mother's Day to you, as well, Carol.

What is it about a lemon that always cheers me. . .

  4. Transparency in a painted object always fascinates me... love it paired with the lemon! I am baking a cake for my daughter and son-in-law whose birthdays I missed this week working out of town... They are serving us dinner tonight for Mother's Day... a great exchange!

    Enjoy your day!

  6. Oh Carol ... such a lovely, bright, colorful painting. I have a few lemons and my have to give them a try. The lavenders, blues and yellow just make this sing.

Also, I'm not sure if I've mentioned to you before that I love how you always display your work along with every-day objects. It gives us viewers a better idea of what 6" x 8" etc. really looks like *grin.
