Happy Mother's Day!
I hope you are all taking it easy today and staying OUT of the kitchen.
Tammy at Beatrice Banks was kind enough to feature me on her blog today. Beatrice Banks is a wonderful blog filled with exciting photos of interior design elements. Hop on over and check it out. You will be happy that you did!
Love these colors Carol!! Great job.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mom's day to you too!
Happy Mother's Day to you, as well, Carol.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about a lemon that always cheers me. . .
Fondly,
Glenda
Love it, Carol.. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteTout en dégustant mon thé au citron je découvre ce beau citron mis en valeur dans ta peinture... MAGNIFIQUE... Gros bisous
ReplyDeleteTransparency in a painted object always fascinates me... love it paired with the lemon! I am baking a cake for my daughter and son-in-law whose birthdays I missed this week working out of town... They are serving us dinner tonight for Mother's Day... a great exchange!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!

your reflective surface on the salt shaker is sublime! Love this painting.
ReplyDeleteOh Carol ... such a lovely, bright, colorful painting. I have a few lemons and my have to give them a try. The lavenders, blues and yellow just make this sing.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm not sure if I've mentioned to you before that I love how you always display your work along with every-day objects. It gives us viewers a better idea of what 6" x 8" etc. really looks like *grin.
Carol, this is one of my faves so far. Great distortion on the lemon through the shaker. *awesome*
ReplyDeleteHeavenly sun casts!
ReplyDeleteHappy momma Days to you too.
There's nothing like a well-painted lemon (you know how I feel about lemons). This is really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe lemon painting is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the shout out Carol! I really appreciate it!!
ReplyDeleteI found you over at Beatrice B. You are every bit as talented as she said that you were. How wonderful to be able to paint like that~ it's truly a gift.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
Your way with light on everyday objects is truly wonderful. You've made me appreciate how beautiful a lemon and a shaker half-full of salt can be.
ReplyDeleteLovely little paintings!
