I'M A LITTLE TEAPOT, 8X10, OIL
When the earth tilts and the days get shorter, I get lovely shadow shapes in my breakfast nook.
Here the shadow of group of palms falls against a teapot sitting on the windowsill.
It's what I like to call a "happy accident", instant set-up!
The shadows give the humble tea pot an air of mystery. Great work.
ReplyDeleteI adore this little painting with all of its light and shadow. :D

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely set of patterns: pot, palm and frame!
ReplyDeleteLove how abstract it looks with the shadows.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the best still lifes are found, like the light on this sweet tea-pot. That happened to me with a pair of roses early one morning.
