Magnolia trees have always been a favorite of mine. They are also a symbol of hospitality in the south, where you seem them on every corner.
They have thick glossy leaves and beautiful large creamy white blooms that perfume the air.
Hi Carol! I love this . . . the flashes of orange against the soft subdued greens and colorful grays really caught my eye. There's a lovely feeling of yearning or offering that adds an emotional impact.

ReplyDeleteI've never seen one here in Phoenix. I did see them last summer when visiting my daughter in D.C. I was captivated, they are lovely.
