"Rayne" 16x20, SOLD

I have painted by friend's grandchildren several times as they were growing up.  Rayne is the youngest of the family.  Although she was included in a grouping with her brother and sister, she was the only child that did not have her own special painting.

SOLD

She was not happy with the situation, so finally, her mother commissioned this painting from me.


I don't do figurative work too often, although it is one of my goals for this year.  I hope little Rayne is happy with her very own painting.

    Is there anything you can't paint? This is adorable,Carol, and I really love her stance.
    My daughter is nick-named Rainy- short for Lorraine. I wonder how your young model's nameis pronounced
