Daily Painting, Wildlife Art, "Mountain Ducky" by Carol Schiff, 6x8" Oil SOLD

This daily painting is a happy little duck I found in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.  It was a hot summer day and the colors of the water reflected a gorgeous blue sky.

Some days, I love working with a palette knife and smearing lots of thick paint around and this was one of those days.  It is just so satisfying ....kind of like baking bread!

    VERY beautiful, Carol. Sometimes I don't have to zoom on your paintings because that amazing texture comes through..this is a wonderful piece.!
