Garden Painting, Daily Painting, Small Oil Painting, "Garden Gate by Carol Schiff, 8x8x1.5" Oil

I have recently been attending workshops and studying artists trying to bring better color relationships to my work.  Last week I enjoyed a quick workshop with Elio Camacho, who is a master with color.  His work led me to Sergei Bonhart.

Mr Bongart is a famous Russian artist.  One of my favorite paintings of his depicted his garden, which he painted in all seasons.  I was inspired by his work on this piece.
