I don't know why, but, as I painted this I was getting tighter and tighter, a problem I don't usually have. It may have been a result of trying to get the candlestick look symmetrical, but I like to blame it on my friend, Denette. I tell her she is rubbing off on me! The first thing I thought when I saw this was, this isn't like Carol! It's still beautiful. I do exactly the same--the longer I paint the tighter it gets.
