ACORN SQUASH, 5X7, OIL, SOLD

I really liked this composition, the way the squash is kind of leaning to the right and casting the long shadow on the left.  Sunlight is a beautiful thing!  I must admit taking on the innards of a squash is not one of my favorite duties.  I tried to leave a lot to the imagination.

    The large version of this had me staring for several minutes. The textures and the incredible colors make this one of my favorites (maybe the favorite) of your fruit/veg series.
