THE RADISH, 5X7, OIL
Just a lovely big, perfect radish. The perfection is in the radish, not my rendition! A strong shadow can lend drama to any subject matter.
From cakes back to veggies...hmmm what is this saying? Too many sweets? Actually your rendition of this radish is quite perfect and I love the angular abstract background shapes with the round circle shadow in the middle.
Love this composition! The graphic, almost abstract shapes of shadow and light frame the radishes perfect round shape. I really like the way you painted the tops as well and then brought the green on through to the shadowed part.
