MY FAVORITE PLACE, 4X8, OIL
How glorious a greeting the sun gives the mountains! ~John Muir This is how I welcome the morning, sitting on my porch, watching the sun peek over the mountain and flooding the old dogwood tree with light.
John Muir was speaking of the wilderness of California, but he may well have witnessed these mornings in Carolina.
Beautiful ... the peacefulness of the morning shines through. The blues with the yellow morning sun is perfect. Really nice ... how lucky you are to see this daily.
Hi Carol, a pretty landscape! Everyone over in the USA are so confident with the small canvasses. See how detailed you have done this painting. I bought 6x6's (20 of them) and find that I am a complete new artist with a different style when I work on them!
It is beautiful and serene, Carol. Enjoy your day!
