"Find beauty not only in the thing itself but in the pattern of the shadows, the light and dark which that thing provides." Junichiro Tanizaki
The mantra of an artist.
This time of the year, nature gives me the most beautiful shadows pouring through my bay windows in the early evening.
Beautiful composition.
ReplyDeleteUnique, Carol......love the abstract feel of the shadows across the apple. Sort of a conflicting focus (I don't know how to describe the feeling.)
ReplyDeleteI really like the abstract feel the shadows create in this painting. Works wonderfully with the realistic apple.
ReplyDeleteVery original and beautiful.
