We loved to find a special little spot, throw out the anchor, lower the sails, and have a little picnic or a glass of wine.
Our best times were with our friends and boat co-owners, Rose and Randy. It was so pleasant to spend time with them without the distractions of everyday life getting in the way. No noise, no phones, just good friends and good food.
I love your sailboat pictures. Did you own a catamarand like this one? Being a sailboat owner myself, I totally understand the feeling of being out on the boat, sipping on a glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteThe loose knife work really accenturates the soft light in the sky and on the water.
Gorgeous Carol! This is going to be a quick sell.
ReplyDeleteSounds heavenly! Love the colors in your painting.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's just a typo, but "owe" was probably the right word after all... It seems honest.
Gorgeous. Lovely time you had and has been captured with joy and vibrancy.
ReplyDeletelowering the sails...a lovely painting with a sentimental title, could be a great card as well.
