Daily Painting, Original Oil Landscape, "Beach TIme" SOLD

Now that summer is officially here,  I thought I would post my latest beach painting.

SOLD

A day at the beach is always a good day, and for me, morning is the best time to visit.

I added a little texture to the panel, before painting, and then used my palette knife to describe the sea oats and other beach vegetation.

Hope you enjoy your first summer weekend!

  1. On my gosh Carol. You couldn't get a better view of the beach unless you were there in person. These are magnificent.

  2. Really nice Carol. I feel like sea oats against the beach colors are one of gods most beautiful creations.

  4. Beautiful work, love the textures and moods that oil paints create particularly for landscapes. I have a few similar in my own gallery http://www.canidaeart.com/#!Landscapes/ckat

Do you use a palette knife or brushes?

Keep up the great work! :) Clo
