CAROLINA BARN, 6X8, OIL SOLD

I love driving around the back roads of North Carolina looking for old barns full of character.  This one caught my eye on my last trip.  I don't know if it was the barn or the stone retaining wall that appealed to me.  Maybe a combination of both.

Carol,
I really like this one. So many good things to keep your interest. I really like the soft trees in the background, the highlights to the right of the barn, the roof of the barn- great brushstrokes there, and the rocks are captured very well. Summed up, I like it all. Super job!

Have always loved the old worn barns, always want to stop and wander around in them, this painting is wonderful, lighting of grasses and trees are perfect.

I love old barns and you are so lucky to have an abundance of colourful and interestingly shaped barns all over the States to paint. This one is beautifully painted, full of vibrant colour.
