Small Oil Seascape, Palette Knife Painting, Daily Painting Small Oil Painting, 6x8" Beach Scene

I may have left Florida behind, bu it is still on my mind.  I look forward to spending time on the beach this winter.

Purchase here

This piece was painted, from my memories of days on the beach, the air full of salt spray.

I painted with a palette knife, because, you all know how much I admire texture in my work.

I have several seascapes in my new Asheville home........it keeps me from getting homesick!  ACTUALLY, I love it here in the mountains.  I now feel I have the best of both worlds.  Mountains in the spring, summer and fall, and the beach in the winter.  Looking forward to being a "snow bird".

Thanks for visiting today.

Very pretty one, Carol. Enjoy both worlds. I live in the mountains now and grew up by the ocean. Hubby retires in bout 18 days and this coming Autumn I want to rent a cottage at the ocean for a week. It's been over 20 years so I think I'm about due. Have a great week.
