I found this charming scene in Brevard North Carolina. I couldn't resist taking a photo to paint from. As much as I would have liked to paint it plein aire, the opportunity was not there.

Hi Carol, I love those colors, too. Do you find you like your plein air paintings better than ones you do back at home? Something maybe about the spontaneity when on site that is perhaps a bit more exciting and shows in the work. Have never tried it myself. Enjoy your day.
