WILTED TULIPS BY KELLIE HILL


I have been very lucky lately, first by having the wonderful artist Annie Salness paint my portrait in the Karin Jurick challenge, and now, I have won this terrific painting from an artist who's work I admire. Kellie Hill hosted a painting give away on her blog and I was fortunate enough to win it. This lovely painting of tulips that have seen their better days is now on my bedroom wall. Carol, these look remarkably like squash blossoms (they are really pretty blossoms and grow like weeds in Texas). Congrats on your big win! isn't that fun...
