THREE PEARS

This is one I have been working on, not too sure if it is finished. I think it will not be a favorite, maybe I should just ditch it!

no no no! no ditching! I love the play of light in this. It has a wonderful impressionistic feel to a traditional subject.

I have to say that this is one of my favorites of yours! No ditching allowed!!!
The reflected light on the pear on the right and the light on the table and the brushstrokes...it all really works!

Unusual composition, I like it! And the source of light is pretty good..!

OMG, no, don't ditch it! It has such a dramatic lighting effect, I think it's great. I constantly struggle to achieve strong, sharp contrasts. Outside your comfort zone is ok...

Don't ditch this one. It works. The complemetary colors are great and I love the glowing feeling.

These have been kissed by the sun. They absolutely glow - another terrific painting Carol. Also love the previous sea scene - your brushwork is so incredible.

Wow..the color and light is wonderful in this one. I feel like I am at the kitchen table, early morning, sun streaming in..all warm and summery. I love it!

The color palette and the playful pattern the shadow makes is perfect. Love it!
