This is my largest abstract to date. I really love the feeling I get when I do them and because of them I feel much stronger in my impressionistic paintings. I feel it is a win/win situation for me. Someday I may branch out and do an abstract still life, but for the moment, I am enjoying the landscapes.

Wow! Love the drama in the clouds and great use of the dark values. When you first see this picture, you think that it is a very large painting. Interesting.
