One thing I love to paint is a pear. They are so beautiful and graceful and each one is shaped differently. When I fould one with a leaf, I could hardly wait to get home and paint.
This time of year, I get great light on my glass table. When I placed the pear and saw the great double shadow and all the blue highlights, I was sold. This is number one in what is sure to be my pear series. I already painted number two and have at least two more in mind. Sooo, I hope you like pears too!
Today is Thursday, the day I place one of my paintings on sale 1/2 price for 24 hours. This week the sale piece is "Whittier River House"8x8, oil. Sale ends at 3 PM EST. Friday.
