THE OLD BARN SLEEPS, IGNORED, 5X7, SOLD Original Oil, Canvas Board

The old barn sleeps, ignored, beside the highway
Where tourists thunder by, vacation bound
And in her dreams, she sees her past unfolded
And ghosts of folk who once walked here-around

I adore old barns. Decades ago, when I was in photo school, there was one about an hour from my house and I use to do photo shoots there all the time. The lighting was fantastic. It has fallen down and is gone now but I have it in many of my photographs :)

Really enjoying your North Carolina landscapes . . . love the muted colors and blast of contrast and texture. I got tagged by Virginia Floyd to post 7 paintings in certain categories from my blog and now I'm tagging you! The best explanation is on Virginia Floyd's blog.
Happy choosing!
