Winter Glory, 6x8", Oil

I don't know the type of tree I found in the upper altitudes of the Blue Ridge Mountains, but it looked very festive with it's abundance of bright red berries.

I had fun with this one, using both brush and palette knife.  The perfect gift for that art lover on your list.

Love those zingy berries, really wintery and beautiful. Palette knives are great tools and I love using them too. Lovely painting.

Love the energy and color in this . . . you really captured the sun trying to peek through the density of branches and leaves to light up those berries! Thanks for your nice comment on my blog . . .
