I found a pile of mini 3x5" canvases in my studio and had lots of fun painting them. Sometimes I need a little change when I walk into the studio.
I somehow found it less stressful to paint these. I am also working on some larger pieces and for me, it works well to do a few small ones before I jump into the larger project.
I think most people could fine many unusual places to display these little pieces and they make a great unique gift. Who said you cannot afford ORIGINAL ART!

Love these minis. Yes, something delightful about painting them. You are always so good portraying light and giving you paintings wonderful character. Love these colors against the black ground.

I adore your minis. I have been working smaller. I enjoy it much more than the big stuff..yet there is a niggling little voice that says..go bigger and make more money...haha as if I was making any money at all!!!

Exquisite little paintings. Painting small doesn't relax me I'm afraid. But doing something small as a warmup for something bigger does work for me.
