Daily Painting, "Waves", Seascape, 6x8", Oil, SOLD

I enjoy trying to capture the feel of the surf rushing to shore on my canvas.

The ocean seems to have a different character and color each time I visit.  This is the east coast of Florida, while California is much more rugged and has a deep rich blue hue.

I like to use my daily paintings very informally in my home.  Just prop them up where ever the mood strikes! No frame necessary!

Beautiful Carol, I am drawn to that little bit of green in the breaking wave, I can almost taste the salt water!

Beautiful Carol. You really nailed these waves. Not only the power of the surf crashing the gorgeous translucency of the wave it curls over, but also super arial perspective. Wow!

I like this one very much. I love how you have made the waves so expressive and full of action. The one furthest back with the green in it is amazing.

Carol, this is one of your best seascapes yet! I love the little bit of lavender in the sky and the yellow green in the breaking wave- all I can say is WOW!, what a nice painting. I love that you have it at the top of your blog, too. I have been wanting to do that but haven't taken the time yet to figure out how to do it.
