Daily Oil Painting, "Rushing To Shore", 6x8" SOLD

SOLD

I cannot go too long without painting the ocean.  Maybe it is the constant action, or the change in color that attracts me.

Maybe it is the atmosphere on the beach.  It's hard to be stressed  there.  Whatever the reason, this is one of my favorite things to paint.

I was thinking about taking a plein air workshop...but I think having to paint so quickly would mortify me. I guess painting the ocean would be great practice! This one is so pretty, too!

I understand, well, at least about the not being stressed at the ocean, not about the painting. As we've discussed - I have no talent there :)

I was just on the Oregon Coast ... that beautiful ocean. How fun it must be to capture it in oil.

Fondly,
Glenda

Yes the ocean is mesmerizing and calming, I get the same feeling looking at your painting.

I very much like to paint the ocean as well. But have almost no opportunity... Tennessee has no shoreline!
I also very much like your little painting. You caught the energy.
