Daily Painting, Vegetables, "Red and Green", 6x8", SOLD

I get bored easily, so I hop around from one subject to another, one style to another, one media to another.

I have to admit, I got excited about the vivid color in the piece.  You can never go wrong with red and green, especially when you top it off with some yummy creams and luscious lavenders.  I have a friend who likes to say "there is room for purple in every painting", and I have to say she may be right.  Most of my works have at least a dab or two of  purple.

Normally I'm one to shy away from color but lately I've been drawn to it. I had all of these things in my salad at dinner last night :)

Wonderful painting, Carol! I guess I get bored also, because I like to change from subject to subject as well! These vegies are so vibrant in color and yes, purple is a must!! Great job.

...and the purple really makes a perfect shadow. Love your bold reds and greens, too!
