BLAZING MOUNTAINS, SOLD

This is the third of four studies I did last week while in North Carolina. The mountains really were blazing, and the weather was glorious. This week they are having freezing temperatures, so I am happy to be back in Florida. The river you see is the Tuskaseegee, close to Bryson City. I hope I spelled that correctly.

This is a 5x7 oil on canvas panel, $75.00/including shipping in USA.

includes shipping in US

Carol, there's much going on --on this 5x7 painting!! Love the brilliant reds in the foreground and the hazy purples in back. Really lovely!

Love the mountains ( I live in the Fens...VERY flat!) and I think this is my favourite, makes me feel hot and cold at the same time, a feature of Autumn for me. When I see paintings like these I wish I could do landscapes.

Diane, Thanks you for your very flattering comments! Sharon, thank you too, and you can do landscapes! Anyone who does such beautiful figures can certainly do landscapes>

This is so beautiful - it makes me want to go there! Freezing temperatures? How strange - we have only had a couple of light freezes here in NE! Well, you're back in Sunny Florida. You and the candidates and a million media journalists and pollsters! Good luck with that!
