This is the second in my two piece commission of "restaurants by the water". This is Conchy Joe's, another favorite hang out in our area. Unfortunately, during the real estate boom, a few years back, Conchy Joe's closed and the site was slated for a condo project. This same thing happend to several waterfront establishments in the area. Of course, before they could be build, the market went south and now they all sit unused. More victims of our economy! This is an 18x24 oil. It was used as the poster art for "Artworks" art festival in 2005.Friday, October 10, 2008
