THE GULF AT SUNSET, 5X7,SOLD

From a photo I took about 12 years ago. The gulf of Mexico as the sun is sinking. I'm not sure how I feel about this one.

I have been in North Carolina for the last two weeks on our annual family vacation. We had lots of fun and laughs, but I am anxious now to get back to my regular routine as I have not painted since I left home. I have lots of photos that I want to paint.

A bit different than your norm because of the pastel like colors. A nice contrast in variety. I like the sun peeking under the clouds. Well done.

Nice, soft colors. It is very calming.

I have seen sunsets like this and always wanted to paint them. I have a few photos of pink/blue sunrises, too, and when I paint them they're just not believable. I believe this painting. Like the format, too. RELAX and enjoy your vacation!

I like the direction your art is taking you. Your sense of color is wonderful, keep going.

Very nice, like a Rothko seascape!
