I know that you have seen "hens and chicks" around, everybody has them, but have you ever seen "baby toes"?? This was something new to me and I liked the way they looked together. However, it was not a match made in heaven. We are in the rainy season here in Florida, and one day I went out to the garden and the baby toes had melted away. Too much rain! Maybe I will get lucky and find them again someday.

nice painting Carol!
Oh Carol these are some of my favorite plants!!! I especially am fond of baby toes. You captured their color perfectly. I'll have to study your painting a little more. May I ask what colors you used?
On the hens and chicks, I used radiant blue, radiant turquoise, kings blue, cobalt blue, permenant rose, raw umber green shade. On the baby toes, radiant green, a warm yellow, naples light. Thanks for all your kind comments, Sheila
ooo.... colors I haven't heard of or used! I'll have to try them. Thank you for being so generous with your info Carol. Hugs!

Your colours and your lights are fantastic, and as always, I love the juicy paint!
