Have you ever stood in the water taking it all in, the water, sky, warmth, gulls and the ever present waves rushing towards you? This is a good thing; one of the joys of living in Florida. Sometimes in our busy lives we don't stop and smell the roses, or contemplate the waves.

Very nice, Carol. And, I love that thought "contemplating the waves." You could start a "movement" centered around that one; give speeches, etc. and become a guru if you wanted. Is that laughter I hear? Enjoy your day, I'm off to contemplate those waves.
Your waves are great and the reflection o the woman, too. Those subtle touches of violet are a nice addition. And, you are right - I know that I need to be reminded to stop and take time to just be.
