THE SANDPIPER, 5X7, ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING

I decided to post another of my surf paintings. This one has a little sandpiper doing what sandpipers do. It is fasinating watching them as they run back and forth between the waves and never get their feet wet!

I have several larger painting that I am working on, but, they are not ready for posting yet.

Eeee! I love this Carol. I think sandpipers and the way they skitter to and fro with the waves are so cute!

Hi Carol - Thank you for stopping by my blog and your kind comments. Nice to meet you. Your use of color on the Under Sail painting is so well done. I think peaceful is the correct mood.

I love sandpipers and their hopping around. Great color going on in your water... not surprising! Very nice.

Hi Carol. I really like how your white foam in the water leads me right back to the sandpiper! great job controlling your focal point and directing me where to look in your painting.
