RIGHT HANDED PEAR, 5X7, OIL, SOLD

My friend, Carmen, fell and broke her wrist recently. She is a wonderful artist and very upset at the thought of not painting for a couple of months. So, she started painting with her non-dominent hand! Just like that, she began to turn out beautiful paintings. A few weeks ago, Carmen was in charge of our weekly painting session. Her challenge was for all of us to switch our painting hands. I am left handed, so this is what I came up with with my right hand. It was very interesting to find out that it is almost as much a brain exercise as a dexterity exercise. We were all amazed and excited to see what we could do with our formally useless hands.
Check out Carmen's blog here to see her beautiful paintings with that other hand.
Today is Thursday, the day I place one of my paintings on sale at 1/2 price for 24 hours. Check out my Etsy site and read the shop announcement to find the painting on sale.

Carol,
This came out great. Love the colors. I'll have to try painting with my left hand.

Carol: There is no doubting your talent -- one hand or the other. This is still a beautiful piece of work.

Oh, I forgot to mention. Your painting appeals to me. It has a fascination that draws me to it.
