As I have mentioned several times lately, winter light in my home can be a good thing. This is another example of a still life with a double reflection from my glass table top.

That is a beautiful painting! The strawberry looks so juicy! I love seeing your paintings, and that Oscar Wilde quote always makes me laugh :)
your paintings are so wonderful! love your beach scenes. your palette is so peaceful and serene. beautiful!
I love this piece, Carol. You captured the glass on glass perfectly. How long do your oils take to dry? I shy away from oils because of drying time. But, maybe I need to try oils again.
I LOVE this Carol! A still life bordering on the abstract. It's mesmerizing. I think the previous "Sunset" painting is one of my favorite seascapes now.
So delicate and beautiful. Ethereal! Beautiful!
This is just sublime, Carol.
Great reflections and the berry is so pretty with it's lush green stem.I see you are holding to your halved fruit theme with a twist. Nice!
Thanks for coming by, Carol. And for the encouragement to try oils again. I'd heard that oils can take up to a year to dry and since my studio space is sooooo limited I have no place to put paintings that are just there to dry. Perhaps a small 4x6 oil of a flower to start.........hmmmm!
Thanks again.
