GUITAR PRACTICE, 6X8, OIL SOLD

I painted a similar scene a few months ago.  This is my granddaughter entertaining herself while on vacation  in our home in western North Carolina.  The first one I painted turned up missing right after a visit from her mother, so I decided to try it again.

I wonder who the culprit was???

Certainly can understand why it went missing. Its lovely. The light emphasizes the soft relaxed gentleness of your granddaughter. (Granddaughter? You don't look old enough to have a granddaughter of this age...)

You better keep this one hidden, or it may just disappear too!

Hmmm...might have to get the private detective out to solve that mystery :) Very nice rendition of this lovely musician. I guess you can paint anything.(We knew that already) Also the pear and plum halves were quite eye catching with the mauve, purple and pinks. Sometimes its difficult to keep up with your production!

I really like this painting...the figure is nicely done. What happened to the pineapple? It looked like such an interesting painting. I can't thank you enough for the information you gave me it was just what I needed!

I am sure one day that painting will turn up on a wal with a lovely frame on it. I remember a painting I had thrown in a bin doing that all by itself. it is amazing what paintings do when we are not looking a them. Love this capture of a serene moment.

Ha-ha, of course her Mom wanted it! But I am glad that you repeated the exercise,Carol, it is a wonderful image, so typical of a teenage girl, and the colors soft and atmospheric!
