You had to know it would happen, right?? Sooner or later, I had to post a half pear. I am having so much fun painting this series of 1/2 a fruit or vegetable (mostly fruit) that I just cannot stop right now. I promise to move on to something else soon, but not too soon.

This painting is soft and pretty. Love the blush of yellow like a halo around the pear. The red at the base and the green of the shadow are beautiful.

Yum! Great blues and pale pale lavenders. The small line of yellow skin looks so great against this palette. Delicious!
