Don't you think otters are just the cutest things on earth? I love the way they swim on their backs. The only thing I don't love is when they catch the baby ducks and chow down...but that is nature!
I have been out of town the last week or so. I want to thank everyone who was so kind to review my blog each day and especially those of you who left such nice comments. I am really behind the eight ball at the moment with lots of projects to check off the list, so I probably won't get around to replying to each one of you individually, but I want you to know how important you are to me. I take great pride in your comments and appreciate all the specifics you mention. It helps me have insight into how my work appears to others. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I hope to get back to my daily browsing of your sites soon.

Yes Carol, he is adorable. I agree they are fun to watch, too. Love coming to see what you've done. Have a great week.
This little guy is so cute! You did a great job with the water and his reflection. He looks as though he is loving the water - and those little paws! Great job, Carol!
Lovely little face, you have the texture so well, Carol. How easy it is to imagine the otter is tame!
Carol,
You amaze me you tackle everything! This little guy is so cute.
Love this little guy! What a cute face and the paws are so playful. Your style works wonderfully on fur. Great job!
Carol, You really captured the personality of the otter. I visit your blog often and I am very inspired by your beautiful work.
I love this Carol!! It's wonderful, you've captured it perfectly :)
But what? baby ducks?!!! I had no idea :(
Great job with this little fella'. The reflections are especially sweet.

Great job. The water movement is great. Sweet.
I love what you did to bring out the light in this painting. Also the shapes in the water and the reflections. Wonderful painting.
