Wonderful painting! I like the division of space and brushwork. Good luck with your great new blogspot!
Wonderful idea, Carol. Lots of luck with the new website. I've been by and think it will be a wonderful place for everyone to see all the wonderful works you and the other fine artists do.
I love watermelon, and absolutely love this piece! In fact, I think all your fruits and vegetables have been stunning! I'll be sure to check the new website... thanks for the link.

Well done on the new website Carol! I don't know how you people up there paint every day! You all sound so busy busy busy - I work on African time, which is 'sometime, maybe'. Love the watermelon.
nice painting. Tis the seson that is for sure.
Good luck on the new web site. You have some great artists and personalities represented.
Another subject I would never have noticed! Brilliant brush strokes.
Nice painting. Love the different directions of your brushstrokes. Best of luck with your new website.
I just love following your "edibles". The Daily Painters looks like great fun. Keep it up.
Your brush work is beautiful! So elegant. Thank you for posting this one.
Carol, Wonderful painting. I'm glad you are on board with Daily Painter Originals.
There are so many wonderful blues and grays in this. The red of the watermelon looks so great next to them. I really like the brighter red "outlining" the slice. It gives it so much life. Just beautiful! I am so very glad that you are part of DPO!
Beautiful watermelon - one of my favorite still life subjects!
Congratulations! DPO sounds like a great new website! Looking forward to giving it a look!
An amazing painting. Love seeing your work on DPO! Also, the colors you chose for your copy here is just so playful and uplifting, they accent your work and give it a great feeling. well done.
