WATERMELON, 6x8, OIL

I have some exciting news to tell you about.  Today is the unveiling of a brand new website called "Daily Painter Originals".  Carolyn Finnell, a very fine artist and computer whiz is the author and founder of this site.  We have gathered a group of 20 plus blogger artists that you would recognize.  People like Dana Cooper and Leslie Saeta, Dreama Tolle Perry and Gwen Bell, to name just a few.  Check out the new site here.  We hope it becomes one of your favorites!

Well done on the new website Carol! I don't know how you people up there paint every day! You all sound so busy busy busy - I work on African time, which is 'sometime, maybe'. Love the watermelon.

There are so many wonderful blues and grays in this. The red of the watermelon looks so great next to them. I really like the brighter red "outlining" the slice. It gives it so much life. Just beautiful! I am so very glad that you are part of DPO!
