Small Oil Still Life, 6x8 Original Painting, "Teapot and Peppers"

Monday is "paint group" day.  Nine of us meet and paint together, something we have been doing for several years.  Over the summer, people are traveling and we are lucky to have 3 or 4, but whomever is in town is always there.

We have gotten lazy over the summer and instead of providing a group project, each of us would just work on something we chose.  Last week, we got back in the swing of things.  I brought in this cheery little teapot and colorful peppers to paint.  It is so much more fun when we are all working on the same set up!

My 1/2 price sale continues and I am posting a few more of the paintings that are available as I write this.

The link to my Etsy 1/2 price sale is here.

Happy Day!

We both painted a teapot!
I should be the one with the ghili peppers for where I live. Love the color harmony.

Chubby little teapots are such fun to paint and to view.
I agree that when painting in a group, it is most enjoyable when everyone is painting the same thing. I do it every Monday with seven others in an open portrait studio.
