MORNING LIGHT

A few weeks ago, my paint group, Pieces of Eight decided to paint plein air at one of our members homes. Cindy lives in a lovely wooded area that was an inspiration to us all. I ended up wiping off two 5x7's, but I did manage to take some good photos. This is a 16x20, oil on canvas which I painted from one of the photos.

includes ship. to cont. US

Absolutely enchanting. Composition is brilliant and the light dazzling! I really like this.

Showing off the secret sweet spot. I can hear the leaves and twigs crunching under the weight of my tread.

Hi Carol, I love this painting, you are a master at composition! I was interested to hear about you wiping off two canvases! I belong to a Plein Air group and find it incredibly difficult to paint outdoors, I am now trying to abstract what I see, simplify and get to the very essence of the thing.

Hi Carol,
You found me thru Kelley MacDonald and I found you. What a wonderful painting - the light is indeed enchanting. I "tagged" you - though I see you were recently tagged. (Was late last night or early this morning.) So enjoy the new viewers to your site. Imagine you don't want to do it again. I've been remiss in not responding but please know I love your work - quite inspiring.
