STORM OVER LOW COUNTRY, 5X7,SOLD, OIL

Another big storm over the low country. I don't know why this fascinates me so much. I find myself painting these stormy marsh scenes over and over. Maybe it is the lime green/dusty purple color combination. ???

I love these storm pictures too. I think it brings back the feeling of having been there and watching a storm roll. And of course, the gorgeous colors it brings with it.

Just gorgeous - I agree with Catherine, you have captured the essence of the storm.

Love them! And the brushword up and down and side to side looks so great!

I have told non-artist friends that you can create a convincing landscape with just the barest hint of sky, horizon line, and foreground and they never believe me! Here you have provided the evidence to prove it. Very nice! I like the bits of peach in the sky and the bright green on the ground...it reminds me of those odd patches of sun that sometimes shine down in a storm.
