KIWI AND BLUEBERRIES, 5X7, OIL, SOLD

More berries and kiwi.  I need to get off this still life kick, or at least, branch out into flowers!  Food is so easy, just throw it in the fridge and it comes out looking yummy and fresh.  Flowers are only good a day or two.

Love this bright blue and green color combo. Also like the way you mimicked the radiating pattern of the kiwi in the background. Very fresh!

Thanks all, I really appreciate your comments. As you know, it keeps us artists going to know there is someone out there who is actually enjoying your art.

Linda, I think the blue was a mix of Fr. ultramarine and radiant turquoise.

Great color combination. Love the touches of rust between the blues and greens. I think you should change the name of your blog to the "Yummy blog". I get hungry whenever I visit!

This is so eye catching! I have such a weakness for a good blue painting. Those blueberries are lush, too.

I too love the colour combo - it's what first struck me. Great loose representation of the fruit! Yum.
