ARTICHOKE, 5X7, OIL, SOLD

I have not had the courage to try half an artichoke, but here is a whole one.  I did cut this baby in half and photo it, so I have everything in place in case I ever get crazy enough to try!

Beautiful colors. Love the blues and how the artichoke looks backlit. Nice brushwork, too.

Carol: This is so nice you should just go for the cut artichoke. I guarantee you will do a good job because you always do!

Gorgeous greens! I feel your hesitation about cutting this one in half. Doing a whole one is difficult enough. You've done an exceptional job!

Very well done! Great colors. Love the touches of blue everywhere. Why would you hesitate? You can easily pull it off. We'll be waiting for it in the next post!

Very nice painting. Like the color play and the softness. Tough object to paint.
